LEE's Credo and Mission Statement :::::::::::::::::::::

Now and in the womb I am Woman Poet. Poet Woman. Not Special.
Not Other.
All artists have a role in the community.
Just as the plumber, the anesthesiologist, and the baker
each wear a community hat, so does
the poet, painter, actor, musician.
Our contribution is to make things
for the community, we are makers.
And we work hard hard hard at it.

What is the poet's job?
To bring order to daily chaos
and put magic back into life.

My mission as Woman Poet is to
guide the willing to that lush passionate place
where poetry can find them.
Happily, the journey includes
exploring the poet's creative process--
How to live the moment
to its fullest.

What is a poet? A downside up reporter
What is a poet's product? One person's interpretation of facts
