"HIGH TECH-HIGH TOUCH—WE HAVE TO BE NURTURED."
- John Naisbitt, MEGATRENDS

Program Title: Poetry As An Everyday Tool
Eight weeks: 3 hours per weekly contact-session, limit 10 persons per session
Propellers: Video, live performance, 20 page handout, books/essays

Program Ethic:
Poetry is too often thought of as dull, abstract, and out of touch with daily life. Most people would rather throw themselves in front of moving traffic than read a poem. Engaging with passionate, alive, vibrant, and accessible poetry is an activity for which we are genetically coded. This program will address how poetry is already woven into the fabric of our being. And how by engaging with poetry, as well as by examining the artists creative process, we can enrich and enhance our process and progress at work.

Objective:
To raise awareness and identify tools for integrating poetry and the artist's creative process into daily work routines, thereby achieving a more friendly chaos. Participants will (1) obtain at least three tools for ongoing practical application in facing dilemmas and (2) find their own personal poet.

Methodology:
Cross-cultural, global

Each project will encompass: sensorial (morale/motivation), temwork, risk, relationship, alternate ways of seeing, out-of-box

NOTE: This program is designed for people at all levels of poetry experience. No previous knowledge or training is required.
